Entomologist Taz Stewart says a cool spring combined with the recent wet weather could be responsible for delayed June pest appearances. To avoid exposure to mosquitoes Taz recommends repellent, light coloured clothing and avoid problem times when mosquitos are most active. For ticks, always preform a tick check after exposure to tall grass or forest.
