Canada’s Mental Health and Addictions Minister Carolyn Bennett announced Monday that the government will be contributing $28.2 million to nine projects across the country that work towards supporting frontline and essential workers whose mental health has been significantly impacted following the COVID-19 pandemic, such as from trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
