Family of Vancouver police officer who took her life launch civil lawsuit naming the VPD and two former senior officers

Nicole Chan died three years ago by suicide after what her family say was harassment from two senior officers she had been in a sexual relationship. The suit outlines disturbing details about the case. The two male officers who were her superiors are no longer with the force. The suit alleges her suicide was the result of wrongful conduct and workplace culture with ineffective guidelines and policies. Catherine Urquhart reports
