Roe v. Wade overturned: ‘Personal freedoms are on the ballot’ in November, Biden says

Addressing the nation on Friday after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, President Joe Biden highlighted the need to elect more senators, state leaders and officials in the upcoming mid-term elections who would codify a woman’s right to choose. “We need to restore Roe as law of the land,” Biden said in his address. “This fall, Roe is on the ballot. Personal freedoms are on the ballot. The right to privacy, liberty, equality. They’re all on the ballot.”
