The co-chairs responsible for the implementation of New Brunswick’s health-care plan provided an update on their progress. But that update included few concrete plans on how to improve recruitment and retention, leaving some feeling there’s a lack of urgency to fix the system. Silas Brown has more. Summer has finally arrived and for many, this means time for a much-needed vacation. But as Robert Lothian reports, time off could be troublesome for New Brunswick’s health-care system, where resources are already scarce.
