During a Canadian Heritage hearing on Monday, as part of an investigation into a sex assault scandal at Hockey Canada, Scott Smith, the president of Hockey Canada said “we want to make sure every Canadian not only knows hockey is a safe environment for them and something they can be proud of.” Smith added that “I’m not sure that we will ever have an end or a finish line to that effort.”
