Instead of using taxpayer dollars, the City of Calgary has opted to help launch a crowdfunding effort to fight a controversial law. Quebec’s bill 21 bans public sector workers from wearing religious symbols on the job. As Jill Croteau reports, city councilors partnered with local faith-based groups to initiate a fundraising page.
