Last week the City of Peterborough announced provincial recognition for ingenuity, and a gold award, at the 2022 Municipal Waste Association Conference.
In fact, it’s not the first time Peterborough has turned heads with progressive work in waste diversion. It was the first city to start recycling plastic bags almost 30 years ago.
Teresa Kaszuba checked in with Dave Douglas to congratulate the team on their efforts.
