U.K. Home Secretary Priti Patel said on Wednesday that the government’s decision to deport migrants who came to the country illegally will go ahead after the first flight got grounded by a last-minute European Court of Human Rights injunction on Tuesday. “We believe that we are fully compliant with our domestic and international obligations, and preparations for our future flights and the next flights have already begun,” she said.
