U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, who is on the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, said on ABC This Week on Sunday that they had uncovered enough evidence for the Justice Department to consider a criminal indictment against former president Donald Trump. He said he’d like the department to investigate any credible allegation of criminal activity by Trump and then decide whether it could prove to a jury “beyond a reasonable doubt” the president or anyone else’s guilt.
