Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressed the importance of listening to Indigenous voices during his speech on the final day of the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles on Friday. “Advancing rights and economic empowerment for everyone must always include Indigenous peoples. Their voices need to be heard in Summits like these and we call on other countries to support their meaningful participation,” Trudeau said.
