Canada’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Theresa Tam told a press conference on Friday that although the U.S. is ending its testing program for travellers entering the country, Canada is not yet ready to do the same. She said that the health agency needs to monitor for new variants, as well as keep layers of protection for the travel sector as an uncertain winter approaches.
