Kimberly Murray to serve as Canada’s special interlocutor for residential schools

Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Marc Miller announced Wednesday that Canada will get an independent special interlocutor for missing Indigenous children and unmarked graves and burial sites associated at former residential schools. Justice Minister David Lametti announced this person will be Kimberly Murray, a former executive director of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
