Bergen says Liberals ‘massively out of touch’ with Canadians

During question period at the House of Commons on Tuesday, interim Conservative Party Leader Candice Bergen called out the Liberal party on its approach to inflation and other issues impacting cost of living, stating that the governing party is “massively out of touch” with Canadians. Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland defended her party’s efforts to make life more affordable for Canadians, including increasing the Canada Worker’s Benefit.
