B.C. Coroner’s Service makes 3 key recommendations to prevent death during heat-related events

Dr. Jatinder Baidwan, B.C.’s chief medical officer, outlined three key recommendations from a report on preventing future loss of life during extreme heat events, on Tues. June 7, 2022. The BC Coroners Service report comes after 619 vulnerable people died the province’s devastating 2021 heat dome.
