Speaking at Toronto Metropolitan University on Friday, Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly said she doesn’t think the country was too slow in sending Ukraine lethal aid to help them fight against Russia’s invasion. She added that when meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in January, at the time, he wasn’t asking for lethal aid, but rather money to help save their economy.
