In between thunderstorm systems on Wednesday morning in Peterborough, a small but dedicated group of Adam Scott Collegiate Grades 7 and 8 students took a gardening project to the next level: ground level, that is.
Their seemingly simple garden project resulted in a mash-up of generations, a criss-cross of communities, and some lessons in the basics of urban farming.
Grade 8 teacher and eco-team mentor Yvonne Leicht shared the details of this effort with Teresa Kaszuba on Global News Morning Peterborough.
