AG audit highlights long-standing barriers for women, Black people, Indigenous people, veterans and more

Unveiling the findings of four reports on Tuesday, Canada’s Auditor-General Karen Hogan told reporters at a press conference that the federal government is struggling to support disabled veterans and a number of vulnerable groups in Canada, as well as revealing barriers for inmates of Black and Indigenous descent, as well as women. “Actions have yet to catch up with words,” said Hogan.
