The federal government is giving out millions of dollars to support persons with disabilities in finding employment. As of 2017, the employment rate for persons with disabilities was just 59 per cent, compared to 80 per cent of those without disabilities. The Opportunities Fund provides funding for wage subsidies, work placements and skill training for people with disabilities. Alicia Draus reports.
