European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday the European Union (EU) was “not there yet” regarding a sixth round of sanctions against Russia for invading Ukraine. EU members will discuss a ban on Russian oil imports into EU countries during a meeting on Monday, though with a temporary exemption for crude delivered by pipeline, which von der Leyen said was the subject of “ongoing” discussions.
