Depp’s lawyer says he was ‘real victim of domestic abuse’ in closing arguments

Camille Vasquez, one of the lawyers for Johnny Depp, said during closing arguments in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard that he was “the real victim of domestic abuse.” She alleged that once Heard realized her relationship with Depp was ending, she “inflicted the greatest and cruelest injury of all” by accusing him of domestic violence and sexual assault.
