At a virtual presentation on the upcoming 2022 hurricane season on Tuesday, Canadian Hurricane Centre Meteorologist Bob Robichaud said that there is a 65 per cent probability of an active hurricane season, with an expectation of 14-21 named storms, of which six to ten will reach hurricane status.
