Australia swears in Anthony Albanese as 31st prime minister after election victory

Australia’s Labor Party leader Anthony Albanese was sworn in Monday as the country’s 31st prime minister, promising a “journey of change” as he had vowed to tackle climate change, rising living costs and inequality. Albanese was sworn in by Gov. Gen. David Hurley at a ceremony in Canberra.
