The Hiawatha First Nation Powwow is back.
After two years of being without a significant part of the community’s traditions and way of honouring its heritage, the drums, the dancing, the jingle dresses, the regalia all return this weekend.
Teresa Kaszuba was joined by Hiawatha First Nation Chief Laurie Carr to talk about Saturday and Sunday’s events.
