Conservative MPs accused the Liberal government of “using talking points from 2015” when it came to its plan to tackle inflation and demanded they “re-consider” a Conservative proposal to exempt the GST on fuel. Responding, Tourism Minister Randy Boissonnault said there is “no evidence” that reducing taxes on fuel will pass on savings to consumers.
