Mary Simon encourages Prince Charles and Camilla to speak to Indigenous people, ‘hear their stories’

Speaking at an event welcoming Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, to Canada Governor-General Mary Simon encouraged the royals to meet with Indigenous peoples and “hear their stories.” She added that it is “more important than ever to engage in dialogue” amid challenges like climate change, which is “having a devastating impact to our land and way of life.”
