Brian Higgins spoke Saturday about gun violence following a shooting at a Buffalo, N.Y. supermarket, saying it is “another example” of the federal government recognizing gun violence as a “public health crisis” and action must be taken. He also said the suspect had been taken into custody, though added that was based on what most people had heard and could not provide further information.
