Environmental debate set for Peterborough-Kawartha candidates to discuss climate change issues

It was a large election topic on the federal level, and now – as we near the June 2nd provincial election – climate change is back again on voters’ minds.
Tonight, Peterborough-Kawartha candidates will be fielding questions on environmental issues at their face off.
Malaika Collette is one of the lead organizers of the event, working with For Our Grandchildren – one of the four organizations putting on the debate. She joined host Noor Ibrahim to discuss why this issue is so important for voters to consider.
