B.C. First Nations urge Canada to cease pipeline construction

In response to a UN Committee’s (CERD) letter, two B.C. First Nations are demanding the suspension of some pipeline projects. The Wet’suwet’en and Secwepemc Nations said they want the Coast GasLink and Trans Mountain Pipeline projects to be suspended immediately. The Nations also demanded the RCMP (CIRG) withdraw from their lands.
