White House calls Putin’s Victory Day remarks ‘absurd,’ says Kremlin spreads ‘revisionist history’

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Russia’s “Victory Day” is meant to remember and honour those who lost their lives fighting Nazis, but instead, President Vladimir Putin made “absurd” remarks. Psaki also said Putin and the Kremlin spread misinformation and “revisionist history.”
