Bono and the Edge from Irish rock band U2 performed in a metro station in Kyiv on May 8, after the band said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had invited them “as a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.” Video posted by the Ukrainian culture ministry’s Stratcom Centre for strategic communications showed the pair performing with Taras Topolia at the Khreschatyk metro station.
