Feds have reached out to Manitoba, but province says it can handle flooding: minister

Federal Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair said during question period on Monday that his government has reached out to Manitoba, but has been told flooding is “within provincial capabilities.” He said the federal government is also working with the Red Cross and municipalities to assist with evacuations.
