Tashme is east of Hope on the Crows Nest Highway. When graphic artist Ryan Ellan moved there, he planned to open a studio. What he found hidden in the walls and ceiling became a reflection of those who had lived in internment camps during World War II. Ellan opened a museum filled with artifacts from those forced to live in the camps, to ensure we don’t forget this dark chapter in our past. Jay Durant has more on This Is BC.
