Residential school survivor says weight ‘lifted’ after Anglican church apology

The Archbishop of Canterbury has issued a historic apology to survivors of Canada’s residential school system. The Anglican church ran about three dozen schools in Canada between 1820 and 1969. Nathaniel Dove spoke to one survivor about what this apology has meant to him personally.
