At Madeleine Albright’s funeral in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, former U.S. president Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tributed Albright by recalling her time in office. “She knew what she believed in,” said Bill Clinton. Albright, who fled the Nazis as a child in her native Czechoslovakia during the Second World War, was the first woman to hold the position of U.S. Secretary of State and died at 84 years old on March 23.
