Manitoba premier Heather Stefanson and health minister Audrey Gordon announced at a news conference in Winnipeg on Tuesday that the emergency department of St. Boniface Hospital will receive a multi-million dollar expansion. The $141 million project was first promised by former premier Brian Pallister in the 2019 provincial election and is expected to see the emergency department triple in size.
