Our Hometown Heroes in BC used a bake sale to raise more than $10,000 for relief in Ukraine. Svitlana Shkyn and Yulia Prunenko from Ukrainian-Canadian Volunteer Association joined us to talk about using the money to purchase an ambulance overseas and how the conflict hits home for their families.
