New York City Mayor Eric Adams spoke Wednesday, saying that the suspect in the subway shooting in Brooklyn had been taken into custody, adding “we got him.” Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell said it was a Crimestoppers tip that led to him being taken into custody, and he would be charged in the subway shooting. According to police, he could face a sentence of up to life in prison if convicted.
