Nova Scotia MLAs unanimously passed an act that will lead to the creation of a memorial day each November to commemorate the millions of Ukrainians who died at the hands of a dictatorship-led famine ninety years ago. The act was brought in after a Ukrainian couple helped bring awareness to the famine-genocide that happened in the 1930s. Alexa MacLean has the story.
