Several of Vernon’s neighbours announced this week they won’t be taking part in any borrowing referendum for a proposed new recreation complex, at this point. The new Active Living Centre facility is expected to cost more than 100-million dollars. As Megan Turcato reports, it will now be up to Vernon council to decide how to move forward.
