The importance of biodiversity in Peterborough and the Kawarthas and how it connects to the world

Two weeks of meetings have concluded in Geneva, Switzerland, with the United Nations global biodiversity framework. 196 countries participated in the meetings, focusing on the concern for biodiversity and nature loss.
Peterborough’s Dawn Carr was part of the Canadian delegation as the Director of Strategic Conservation with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
She joined host Teresa Kaszuba to talk about how biodiversity efforts apply to the Peterborough Kawartha region.
