Innovation, Science and Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne said Monday that the federal government’s announcement to work with 14 internet service providers to provide high-speed internet for low-income families was a “good start.” He also said if they needed to add providers to the partnership to expand how many have access to high-speed, low-cost internet, they would look into it.
