A 170-year-old Cobourg church is getting ready for some transformative renovations.
St. Peter’s Anglican Church will have its old building repaired with sustainability in mind.
It’s been several years since the church has been in use, after it was deemed unsafe in 2018 thanks to a leaky roof and the potential for falling plaster.
Church Warden Patricia Perkin says one of the end goals in the Transforming – Spaces, Lives & Faith campaign is to bring church members back, reinstating the sense of community.
