Woman from B.C. tried to raise awareness during Papal talks of an often-ignored issue

The talks with the Pontiff concluded with an apology for the harm caused by church-run residential schools and a commitment to come to Canada. One of the delegates had hoped to highlight the problem of violence against missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people. Neetu Garcha reports from Rome.
