A convoy of vehicles carrying evacuees from Mariupol and Melitopol arrived in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, late on Friday. Some passengers had to stand throughout the 12-hour journey, due to the high number of people trying to escape from Russia’s siege. “There wasn’t enough space. There were too many children, too many elderly people” said truck driver, Igor Lobintsev.
