Métis National Council President Cassidy Caron said Friday in Rome after Pope Francis apologized for residential schools that there were still more steps to be taken. But she said it’s been a “clear message” throughout the week of meetings that “by working together with our Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters we can accomplish anything.”
