Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami President Natan Obed said Friday in Rome following Pope Francis’ apology for residential schools that he was “extremely touched” by the way he “expressed his sorrow,” and the way the Pope “condemned the actions of the Church in particular regards.” He said, however, that there was still more to do and the apology was part of a “larger picture.”
