Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott announced on Thursday that the province is providing an additional $3 million in funding for the “modernization and expansion” of North York General Hospital in Toronto. “This funding builds on a previous investment of $2.5 million for a total of $5.5 million that will be used to plan the hospital’s redevelopment, which will improve access to care,” Elliott said.
