U.S. to issue gender-neutral ‘X’ passports starting April 11

U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price said on Thursday the U.S. government will start issuing gender-neutral option “X” passports for citizens on April 11. The announcement was made on the eve of the Transgender Day of Visibility.
