Dog rescued from Chemong Lake

It’s a pet owner’s worst nightmare.
Last week a young puppy ran onto the ice that covered Chemong Lake in Curve Lake First Nation and was unable to get back to solid ground.
Dog owners and neighbours leaped into action to rescue to animal.
Fortunately, this story has a happy ending but there is a warning for everyone about the dangers of ice,
